12th of October, 2013. The first day of the KLPF event. This is the day where photography enthusiast gather their 70-200, 160-400 and cleaning it the day before. The bigger the lens, the better. Getting ready for the event that will be held every year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Every individuals were excited with something. New cameras, new lenses, new gears.

For, me. I am there for the new Pentax K-3.

And also the cute little Q7. It really caught my wife's attention. She was totally blown by the cute little bugger. But unfortunately, it carries quite a heavy price tag. RM1,6XX for a small little digital camera.

After a few hours of walking and stalking, I finally came to a conclusion that the Pentax booth is the best. When I say best, I mean is the way they know their brand. They really explain in details and really tells you the good and the bad of their Pentax line.

I was surprise to see the type of offers and great deals the fair offers. A Nikon D600 body only for RM5,095.00

In Petax Ricoh booth, some items are way below dealer price. The K-5 IIs really caught my attention. RM3,195.00 only!! For one of the best APS-C camera in the world? Serious? Luckily my bank has insufficient funds. Or else, I will be busy comparing it with my classic K-5 at home now.

I brought along my K-5. Not knowing that I had actually brought a butter knife to a what suppose to be a chemical nuclear warfare. I saw 5DIII everywhere. With lenses that can actually be used as a weapon.

DG Color was there too. Saw some discounts for studio strobe lights.

Located at the Lobby of Genting Highlands hotel, we stumble upon this cafe. The Bakery.

Here, you find many varieties of pastry, pies and cakes.

We ordered a Turkey Onion pie with salad.

Both me and my wife enjoyed the pie and coffee very much. Price is reasonably cheap considering that we are in a tourist spot. Total damage for the Turkey Pie plus a cup of local coffee is around RM 15.00. Overall I think the Bakery is worth a visit. If you get the chance to find a table outside, its even better. The Bakery at Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia deserved a 7 out of 10.

This particular Claypot Chicken Rice is located at a row of shop lot just outside Jusco Cheras Selatan, Balakong, Kuala Lumpur. If you don't fancy any food inside Jusco, walk out and your will be spoiled by choices.

This particular shop, is one of our favorites. Is located just few shops away from the corner hawker shop.

The rice is tasty. And service is quick. Worth trying. Be prepared to spend around RM 30.00 for two to three person with Chinese tea . Overall, it deserves a 7 out of 10.
