Finally NOW!! We come to a point where there are no good excuse not to switch to the Sony System.

Sony Introduced the Sony A7 Mark III

Finally. Now. We come to a point that there are not even a single excuse not to switch to the Sony System. Before this, every time when we have the feeling to switch to Sony, there is a couple of reasons that shoots that idea down. Couple of reasons like, small battery, 1 SD card slot, not enough lens set up and not to mention, extremely expensive lenses. No 4K, no eye auto focus for the entry level Sony Full Frame mirror less, noob auto focusing system compared to DSLR of equivalent prices - mostly on the area of subject tracking.

And now, with the newly announced Sony A7 Mark III, that will be the excused of the pass. Sony somehow manage to squeeze in jam packed of features that now it would be crazy not to jump to the Sony A7 Mark III if you are searching for a decent full frame camera system.

Sony categories it as the entry level full frame mirror less camera for the Sony A7 Mark III. That is like saying, The BMW M3 is just an entry level of the BMW 5 Series.

Here are some of the reasons that makes me felt so want to sell all my gears and switch to Sony. Here are some of the reasons.

1) Almost perfect auto focus system (similar to the almost RM20K Sony A9)
2) Bigger Battery
3) Improved Auto Focus with Canon Lenses via Metabone adapter
4) 4k Video Recording
5) Thumb stick similar to the Sony A9 and A7R Mark III
6) Improved video auto focusing
7) Dual SD  Card
8) Sigma announced the FE Mount 28-75 f2.8 lens and many other ART lenses in future

Okay now. Price. At estimated RM8k plus. Its similar to the Canon 6D Mark II. And if you know about the specs, you know besides the heavenly Canon Dual Pixel auto focus system for video auto focus, others than that, the Sony A7 Mark III wins hands down. Another competition at that price point will be the Pentax K1 Mark II. Which is no where near the spec of the Sony A7 Mark III unless you are only concern about Mega Pixels and Image Sharpness and image quality on controlled environment. The Nikon D850 and Canon 5D Mark IV is at another price point level.

I have never felt so wanted to try out the new Sony A7 Mark III. When I have the money, I will definately switch. But for now, I will be sticking to my old gears.

Until then, cheers and have a nice day ahead.
