The New Sony A7R II - World's First BSI Full Frame Camera

Sony A7R II. The sharpness monster. With the BSI sensor and without a low pass filter, your can assure that sharpness and low noise at high ISO is something that would blow other current Full Frame sensor out there. Which the Samsung NX1 has already proven. And it shoots 4k video as well.
With 42Mp of horse power, the A7R II has slightly less firepower than the Canon 5Ds/5DsR. But without the AA filter on th A7R II, this could result in even more sharpness than the Canon's new but old 5D s/sR.

We somehow get a better clue that this sensor might also be used on the upcoming mystical Pentax Full Frame camera. If so, I guess the Pentax Full Frame will be the only one which still stand the chance to beat this monster.

Lets see what Pentax will bring to the table. If they ever release a Full Frame.

Until then, cheers and take a break.

The late Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole (Also knows as "IZ") 1976–1997 38 years old

When pure talent broke the barrier......... nothing can even stop one of the most unappealing singer in becoming a legend and earn his title as "The Voice of Hawaii" .

Don't let what seems to be a big problem stopping you from your achievements when you know that your passion and talent is much more greater than your problems.

I can imagine how Mr.IZ felt when he went up stage and people are looking at him with all kinds of impressions. IZ's could have left and in his mind could have said, what the hell am I doing here up on stage in front of thousands of people. And no he didn't. His passion is music and when he sang the first few words, audience were stunned and the whole room fell silent on hearing him. And from there, IZ went ahead and never looked back.

The late Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole (Also knows as "IZ") 1976–1997 38 years old

Source from Wikipedia:-
Throughout his life, Kamakawiwoʻole was morbidly obese and at one point weighed 757 pounds (343 kg; 54.1 st) standing 6-foot-2-inch. He endured several hospitalizations because of health problems caused by his weight. Beset with respiratory, heart, and other medical problems, he died at the age of 38 in Queen's Medical Center at 12.18am. on June 26, 1997. Kamakawiwoʻole was survived by his wife, Marlene Kamakawiwoʻole, and their daughter, Ceslie-Ann "Wehi".

The Hawaii state flag flew at half-staff on July 10, 1997, the day of Kamakawiwoʻole's funeral. His koa wood coffin lay in state at the state capitol building in Honolulu. He was the third person in Hawaiian history to be awarded this honor, and the only one who was not a government official. Approximately ten thousand people attended the funeral. Thousands of fans gathered as his ashes were scattered into the Pacific Ocean at Mākua Beach on July 12, 1997. Scenes from the funeral and scattering of Kamakawiwoʻole's ashes were featured in official music videos of "Over the Rainbow" released posthumously by Mountain Apple Company; as of January 2015, the two videos as featured on YouTube have collectively received over 180 million views.

On September 20, 2003, hundreds paid tribute to Kamakawiwoʻole as a bronze bust of the revered singer was unveiled at the Waianae Neighborhood Community Center on Oʻahu. The singer's widow, Marlene Kamakawiwoʻole, and sculptor Jan-Michelle Sawyer were present for the dedication ceremony.

RIP Israel "Iz" Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole.......

Could This Be True? New K-3 II Coming Soon?

Before the Pentax FF hype even have the chance to settle down, and now it seems that rumors have said that Pentax will announce yet another flagship camera. The Pentax K-3 II.

Would that be a clever strategy for Pentax marketing. After the announcement of the Pentax FF, I doubt that people would even consider upgrading their K-3 or K-5 II/IIs to the new K-3 II where there is an even better announcement coming from Pentax. The mystical Pentax FF?

These 2 years has been an exciting year for Pentax. The K-3 and the 645z. Lets see what Pentax has to offer for this year....... Until then,

Cheers and take a break..

9th Maternity & Children Expo 2015 in Mid Valley? Is It Worth Going?

- Go early for parking.
When we were there on Friday afternoon, we almost had to circle the car park for around 1 hours hunting and stalking people from leaving only to know they are just unloading their purchases and going back for second round. And we received reports that the parking is pack full that it has to be closed and visitors are forced to park on the road side.

- Avoid Pushing Baby Stroller.
The place is tight and is poorly mapped out. Mummy and daddy with stroller can hardly move around. Even on a Friday which is suppose to be a working day is jam packed.

- Ask For Stock Availability Before Lining Up
Some visitor are disappointed when by the time the line reached them, only to find out the pampers size they wanted has ran out of stocks. Same with other products like the Tommee Tippee bottles.

- Try Visiting Jusco Or Aeon Big First Before Deciding
We are surprise to find even better deals in Jusco. 60-80% discounts for baby clothes. But it seems is only just for today. But there is no harm trying. RM120 for 3 packs of Mamy Poko diapers which is about the same as what the Baby Expo is selling. But, in the Baby Expo, you need to queue up like for half and hour and there is no promise that the stock will be enough.

Few of the products prices that we manage to survey:

- Tommee Tippee 5oz Feeding Bottle = RM10.90. NP = RM34.XX (But Latest Report Showed That It Has Ran Out Of Stock This Morning) Can still try tomorrow morning.

- Drypers Wee Wee Dry Buy Any 3 for RM123.00

- Diapex Premium 4 packs for RM100.00

- Mamy Poko 3 packs for RM120.00

- Baby Clothing = Starts from RM5 (Might Get Better Discounts In Jusco)

I think you will need to be there early. Stocks are limited and be prepare to queue up for hours. Oh, and also stand a chance to win a Mini Cooper in a lucky draw. Don't know how, because we didn't bother to queue up for registration because that queue alone is super long and we can't wait to explore what is there to offer.

Very True And Very Funny As Well

Lets take a break and just have a laugh........

For those lovely people who doesn't have children and always admire and felt jealous to those lovely people who does have children, they have no idea on what they are talking about. They have no idea how difficult things will be in their life. Things that are not consider to be things, will become nearly impossible.

But even so, we still love our children very much.

Hurray, The Long Awaited Pentax FF DSLR Has Been Announced`

Finally..... the day has come for those loyal Pentax fans to enjoy the lime light of the newly announced Full Frame DSLR. Knowing Pentax, it will not come without a big bang and a big kick in the butt for other big boys out there.

At quick glance on the left side below, we notice the presence of a placeholder for the SR logo, which suggest that the upcoming Pentax full-frame will feature in-body stabilization just like existing Pentax cameras.  And this alone will be the big slap in the face for other Full Frame DSLR competitors our there.

The Pentax Full Frame fleet so far has been seen with the release of the DFA* 70-200 f2.8 and the DFA 150-450 Zoom lens.
HD DFA* 70-200 f2.8 F2.8 ED DC AW

HD DFA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW

The final name for this new Pentax FF has yet to be confirmed.

So far, it should be spec as:
K-mount digital SLR camera with a large, 35mm full-frame image sensor
Compatible with DA-series interchangeable lenses, using an image-cropping function
Currently under development for market launch by the end of 2015

Note: The specifications and exterior design of this product are yet to be finalized.

We should be able to see a further spec on the up coming CP+ 2015

Until then, cheers and take a break.
