This particular Claypot Chicken Rice is located at a row of shop lot just outside Jusco Cheras Selatan, Balakong, Kuala Lumpur. If you don't fancy any food inside Jusco, walk out and your will be spoiled by choices.

This particular shop, is one of our favorites. Is located just few shops away from the corner hawker shop.

What To Eat At Jusco Cheras Selatan, Kuala Lumpur - 25th April 2013

Every time when we are window shopping at Jusco Cheras Selatan. We always come across this little cafe. Every time during lunch, every other cafes and restaurant will be pack. But this particular one doesn't seems to be as popular. Every time when we passed by this little cafe, me and my wife will always whisper to each other, so pity, one day we must try and see what's what.

So, one day, here we are.

Fruit Land Jusco Cheras Selatan, Kuala Lumpur

They are having some sets that comes with a dessert and bean curd.

Fruit Land Menu Lunch

The appetizer is a fried bean curd with sour sauce and the dessert is a fruit pudding.

Here is what we ordered.

Fruit Land "Pan Mee"

Overall, the foods are just foods. Nothing to shout about. But I like it because is simple. You wont get confused with those simple straight forward dishes. The main attraction for Fruit Land I guess is the Lolos. We didn't have those but its something like a luxury "ice kacang" with fruits in it. Should be darn nice I guess.

Fruit Land Jusco Cheras Selatan

We still can figure out why there is hardly any customers here. The food is not bad. The service is fair. The place is clean, environment is good. But no business. Maybe is the name. People seems to think that Fruit Land only serves fruits.

Overall I think Fruit Land is a place worth trying. Giving them a chance is one of the easiest thing a person can do. It deserve a 6 out of 10. I just hope that I will still see Fruit Land when I pass by.

Cheers and take a break.

Luxury Ice Kacang Desert, Sungai Wang, Kuala Lumpur - 25th April 2013

This is something that ladies shall not miss. For me, I am not really interested with this kind of desert. I prefer a bowl of original "cendol" to this. Anyway, this place is call the Snowflake. Located on the Ground floor outside Sungai Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur.

Snowflake Sungai Wang Plaza

There are plenty of toppings to choose from.

The thing that caught my eyes is this little device.

Snowflake Beeping UFO

This little device will beep when your desert is ready for collection. So, once it beep, run to the counter to collect your desert.

This is what we ordered.

Well, is just a dessert. And dessert is suppose to make a person happy. So, it deserved a 7 out of 10.

Fancy Having Your Meal In The Washroom? Sungai Wang, KL - 22nd April 2013

Have you ever thought of, hmm, you know what, how lovely it is if we can have our meal in the toilet. Well, yes you can. Here at T Bowl, Sungai Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

T Bowl Concept Restaurant, Sungai Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Not only you will be sitting on the "throne" but will be most likely eating in it if you are lucky enough to choose the correct dish. The drink we ordered seems to be served in something that looks to me like a urinal bowl.

My wife ordered the Drunken Chicken "Loo Fan" which is just basically a porridge only the rice is not as soft. And fr me, I ordered the Set Rice With Cheese Baked Chicken that comes with a soup and drink.

Below is a picture of the lady preparing the Drunken Chicken "Loo Fan".

Notice the flaming wok?

And here are how the dishes looks like.

So is basically rice in wine soup with a chicken drum stick.

And below is the Set Rice With Cheese Baked Chicken

I pretty like the Rice With Cheese Baked Chicken. Especially the scallop. Nothing to shout about for the Drunken Chicken "Loo Fan" tho.

You will need to be prepared to spend roughly around RM 16.00 or more per set that comes with a soup and a drink.

Yeah yeah, some might say, dude, this concept has been here for ages. I admit, we are a bit late. But we finally being crazy enough to try it out and see what is what with this Toilet concept restaurant.

I think the fun has died down. Pity that it din't last long. Some might find it very disturbing to have their meal in the toilet. And of course, its the last place in your mind when you plan to bring your mother in grace for a dinner.

For the concept and food, the T Bowl at Sungai Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur gets a 6 out of 10. Nothing wrong with the food, its quite nice, The problem is the concept. Its fun for the first few times. But eventually people will realize is a bit silly. But we really hope that this concept will still be preserve Who know's one day, we will be crazy enough to crave for a meal in the toilet.

Cheers and take a break.....

Hidden Gem In Pudu Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - 4th April 2013

Pudu Plaza. Located in the heart of Pudu town in Kuala Lumpur. You will find mostly senior citizens here. We went for our quest to find interesting food here. And, we found this.

JC Mini Steamboat (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

It is located in the lowest floor of Pudu Plaza. The least that we expected in this pre historic shopping complex. Every individual gets their own stove and wok to play with.

JC Mini Steamboat Individual Wok (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

You can choose to have their set at RM 12.00 per person with few types of noodles to choose from, Yee mee, Yellow mee, mee Hoon and etc. In the little boat plate, you get, a prawn, a slice of "sotong"(Cuttle Fish) Lady Finger, Carrot, some varieties of fish balls, and etc. But don't expect much. If you feel like having more, you can actually go to the fridge located in the corner to take what every you want, buffet style. Every dishes will have their indicated price tag. Here is how the set looks like.

JC Mini Steamboat Set (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

You can actually dump all that in, in one go.

JC Mini Steamboat All In (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

And once its boiling, is time to shut up and eat

JC Mini Steamboat Boiling (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

There are plenty of sauces to choose from.

JC Mini Steamboat Sauces (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

We preferred the red chilies that you normally find in "Hai Nam" chicken rice and some "Thim Cheong" (Sweet Sauce)

JC Mini Steamboat Chilies (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

Total damage for two(2) person including Chinese ice tea, around RM 25.00.

The conclusion.

There is nothing special about the food at all if I may say so. But for the experience, is really a deal.  Who says eating alone is boring. For RM 12.00 per set, uncles, and aunties now can make their meals more fun and special.

JC Mini Steamboat Happy Diner (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor)

And for that, the JC Mini Steamboat (Pudu Plaza Lowest Floor) deserved a 7 out of 10.

Cheers and take a break.....
