Finally NOW!! We come to a point where there are no good excuse not to switch to the Sony System.

Sony Introduced the Sony A7 Mark III

Finally. Now. We come to a point that there are not even a single excuse not to switch to the Sony System. Before this, every time when we have the feeling to switch to Sony, there is a couple of reasons that shoots that idea down. Couple of reasons like, small battery, 1 SD card slot, not enough lens set up and not to mention, extremely expensive lenses. No 4K, no eye auto focus for the entry level Sony Full Frame mirror less, noob auto focusing system compared to DSLR of equivalent prices - mostly on the area of subject tracking.

And now, with the newly announced Sony A7 Mark III, that will be the excused of the pass. Sony somehow manage to squeeze in jam packed of features that now it would be crazy not to jump to the Sony A7 Mark III if you are searching for a decent full frame camera system.

Sony categories it as the entry level full frame mirror less camera for the Sony A7 Mark III. That is like saying, The BMW M3 is just an entry level of the BMW 5 Series.

Here are some of the reasons that makes me felt so want to sell all my gears and switch to Sony. Here are some of the reasons.

1) Almost perfect auto focus system (similar to the almost RM20K Sony A9)
2) Bigger Battery
3) Improved Auto Focus with Canon Lenses via Metabone adapter
4) 4k Video Recording
5) Thumb stick similar to the Sony A9 and A7R Mark III
6) Improved video auto focusing
7) Dual SD  Card
8) Sigma announced the FE Mount 28-75 f2.8 lens and many other ART lenses in future

Okay now. Price. At estimated RM8k plus. Its similar to the Canon 6D Mark II. And if you know about the specs, you know besides the heavenly Canon Dual Pixel auto focus system for video auto focus, others than that, the Sony A7 Mark III wins hands down. Another competition at that price point will be the Pentax K1 Mark II. Which is no where near the spec of the Sony A7 Mark III unless you are only concern about Mega Pixels and Image Sharpness and image quality on controlled environment. The Nikon D850 and Canon 5D Mark IV is at another price point level.

I have never felt so wanted to try out the new Sony A7 Mark III. When I have the money, I will definately switch. But for now, I will be sticking to my old gears.

Until then, cheers and have a nice day ahead.

Wonton Noodles or better known as Wanton Mee by the locals here in Malaysia

4th May, 2017 - Wonton Noodles. Or better know as Wanton Mee by the locals. Is one of the most popular noodle dish here in Malaysia. Usually served with roast sweet pork belly "char Siew" and a bowl of soup with wanton dumplings and a few vegetable for garnishing. There are 2 main version of the wanton mee. A dry one, and a soup version. I particularly like the dry one because it has a more intense taste. Usually service with sliced green chillis.

Some Wonton Noodles even comes with a roasted duck or roast chicken as side dish.

Do sure to try out a nice plate of Wanton Mee when you visit Malaysia. Let us know down below should you need a recommendation on which Wanton Noodle start to try out.

13th March 2017 - Line Clear Nasi Kandar has been ordered to stop operation for two weeks due to major cleanliness issues.

13th March 2017, Penang - Dear friends who are planning their trip to Penang Malaysia and looking forward to try out the iconic Line Clear Nasi Kandar Restaurant here will be disappointing. Among others that shared the same fate are Yasmin Restaurant and Sup Hameed Restaurant who were also been given the order to stop operation for a time being until further notice. Lets hope that they will get their cleanliness issues sorted out and give us the consumer an assurance so that we can continue to support with confidence. Every old kitchen needs a cleanup.

However, there are still many nasi kandar restaurant in Malaysia that is equally as delicious only not that popular. Franchises like Pelita, Nasi Kandar Utara and many others does also serve nice delicious nasi kandar. SO, no sweat if you can't try Line Clear this time. There are plenty of other options here in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang for a good nasi kandar restaurant

Until then, have a nice day ahead.....

Kie Kee Food Stall- Probably one of the best and most affordable chicken rice in PJ

24, Feb 2017 - Kie Kee Food Stall. Unarguably one of the best and affordable chicken rice stall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Malaysia. Located inside Petaling Jaya Old Town or better known by the locals as PJ Old Town Food Court & Wet Market. Like every other Food Court or also known as Hawker Center, there are many hidden gems inside every one of them. And Kie Kee Food Stall is no exception.

What to order you may be wondering. These are the most common dish the locals usually have.

- Roasted Chicken Rice. Choose from chicken breast, thigh, drumstick and maybe try to avoid chicken wing,
- The "Char Siew" sweet roast Pork Belly which is more on a watery and sweet style of pork belly cooking and "Siew Yok" the sort of dry deep fried pork belly that is on the salty side. Or, just order both.
- Curry Pork Meat. Which is port chop cooked in a thick Chinese style curry.

How to order? Easy.
Lets say you are going as a couple. First you will need to find a seat as close to or aligned to Kie Kee Food Stall as there will be many stall sharing the food court and after all these years they sort of like mark their own territories through out the years.

Then, get the staff's attention which are easy to identify due to their yellow colored t-shirts and repeat after me. One roast chicken rice, drumstick with "char siew" and one roast chicken rice, breast with "siew yok". And add one more Curry Pork Chop. Or, you can also combine your order. This is how you order. Roast Chicken Rice plus "char siew" and "siew yok" for 2 person, prefer thigh and breast. 1 curry pork chop. Done.

^ Roasted Chicken Rice, Thigh

^ Curry Pork Chop

Oh and when you have settled down in your seat. There will be drinks vendor approaching you. Just order what you wish to drink. We do like the "(Ice) Ais Kacang" or also known as ABC which is shredded ice with condense milk and all the other jelly stuff and ground nuts. A cooling and refreshing desert.

^ " (Ice) Ais Kacang" also known as ABC

So the next time you are planning your vacation here in Selangor Malaysia, do check this place out. In this particular food court itself has tons of variety of food stall to try out. Next to Kie Kee is a "Bak Kut Teh" stall and also along side you can find "Yong Tou Fuu" stall. On the opposite side, you can find india food like banana leave rice and roti canai just to name a few. And truly one stop location for all the old school type of food. Just be sure to avoid working hour peak lunch time.

Address of Kie Kee Chicken Rice Food Stall as below.
Taman Selera, Jalan Othman
46050 Petaling Jaya
Selangor Darul Ehsan

Its Malaysia KLPF 2016 Again - 7th to 9th October 2016 @ StarXpo Centre, 15th Floor, Kenanga Wholesale City

Well, its actually nothing compared to Photokina or CP+. But still, its here in Malaysia.

But unfortunately this time we do not see Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Ricoh, Tamron and may other stated above. Seem slike a pity because we are looking forward to have a look at the Pentax K1.

But there are some other exciting stuff we can look at.... we hope. Most probably the new Canon 5D Mark IV and also the new Mirroless Medium Format camera from Fujifilm. Other than that I guess there is nothing much. Oh and not to forget that DJI will be there as well. Wonder will they have the DJI Mavic Pro for test drive.

So for all our photography enthusiast fans out there, do check out KLPF 2016.
